                         O U L D H F J Z E A P W N X C V R Y I C K Q B X T

METHOD OF CALLING.

For the first contact tou will call using the first three letters of your selction (M D A ). If contact is established, then if a frequency is changed you will use the second three letters (N V L) and so on. For the nexr contact you will always use the next three letters to those last used (C F Q).

You will always change call signs with a change of frequency and must always use a new call sign for each contact. If you should call but not make contact you will continue to use the same call sign at the next attempt and until contact is established.

When the end of the selection is reached the call sign will be completed by taking the required number of letters from the beginning of the selection.

CENTRAL will use their selection in the same way.

CALL SIGNS WILL NEVER BE LINKED.

FREQUENCY CHANGE

this will be done by sending the signal QSY followed by the number of the frequency going or desired, to be used. If CENTRAL is wanted to send on two frequencies simultaneously or is proposing to do so, two numbers will be sent.

Example: QSY 17 would mean "Change your transmitting frequency to 6310 kc/s".

SCHEDULES

CENTRAL WILL LISTEN between the following times GMT:

Monday 16.45 - 17.15    Wednesday 09.45 - 10.15    Saturday 15.15 - 15.45

ADDITIONAL CONTACTS

The signal QRI will NOT be used. Additional contacts are signalled in the following manner. Put down the time at which you wish the contact and insert the day indicating figures before the first figure. This gives you a five figure group. This group is then reciphered by adding the reciphered group of the day on which you SEND this additional contact The resulting five figures group is then transposed into two five letter groups from the Transposition Table. To do this, take any line and put down the letter at the beginning of that line and then the letter above one of the requiredfigures. A different combination should be used for each figure. This gives you two letters for each of your five figures and the resulting ten letters are split into two groups of five.

Should CENTRAL send you an Additional Contact you should first transpose it into figures, from the Transposition Table and then SUBTRACT the reciphering group of the day on which it is sent by CENTRAL.

NOTE: .... .... .ting or adding reciphering groups .... .... .he carried forward.

CENTRAL will listen ... minutes before and for five minutes after the time given.

DAY INDICATING FIGURES

SUNDAY - 3
MONDAY - 8
TUESDAY - 7
WEDNESDAY - 6
THURSDAY - 4
FRIDAY -9
SATURDAY - 1

RECIPHERING GROUPS

SUNDAY - 27308
MONDAY - 34901
TUESDAY - 42740
WEDNESDAY - 60530
THURSDAY - 08844
FRIDAY - 16800
SATURDAY - 45334

Example: If on MONDAY you want to send an additional contact for TUESDAY at 13.30 you will find that the day indicating figure for TUESDAY is 7. The five figure group is made up as follows 1330 (time) with day indicating figure inserted before the first figure gives you 71330. By adding the reciphering group for MONDAY (
?) we get 71330 + 34901 = 05321. Transposed into letters this might produce PLZQO KNGES (Hoe werkt dit?)

CENTRAL will listen from 13.25 to 13.35.

PROCEDURE

The signal QSA will NOT be used. If the receiving station gets the transmitting station's signal at strength less than QSA 3, the signal QRJ will be sent. If the signal QRZ is NOT sent, the transmitting station will know that its signals are being received satisfactorily and will send words once only.

Normal commercial and Q code of signals will be used as well as following special Procedure Signs 16.
